Just wanted to drop a quick note and let ya guys know I'm doing OK. Work keeps me very busy. And now that summer is here not only is my job keeping me occupied but the stupid Taliban are making their attempts also. Below are a few pics from a convoy I was on yesterday. Ill preface it with, everybody was OK. Some poor NATO allies probably have some mad ringing in their ears, but that was the worst of it.

This is what we've been rolling around in, the Mine Resistant Ambush Protection vehicle or MRAP. Our truck was a good 300 meters down the road from the explosion.

This is the hole left in the ground, the IED was placed in a culvert that run under the Highway. You can't really tell from this pic but the crater is about 10 feet across and 4/5 feet deep. It was a big sucker.

Well it seems its going to be an interesting summer. I'm gunna do everything I can to make sure our great men and women in uniform have the best and most reliable tools to capture and kill terrorists where ever they are.
